Being a dog groomer is an exciting, fun and rewarding career. Not only are we are lucky enough to spend our days with loving and playful dogs, but we also have an opportunity to make a
positive impact on their lives. Like all careers, dog grooming can also be challenging so it’s important to start your career with the best possible training.
We have a dog grooming course for everybody – from pet owners to aspiring professional dog groomers. All of our courses have been crafted by iPet Network, an industry-specific awarding body regulated by Ofqual. So alongside learning new skills, you'll also receive a nationally-recognised qualification.

MEET THE TUTOR.
Meet Elise, the Training Academy's head tutor. Elise has been styling dogs for over a decade and has delivered dog grooming training for over five years. As a passionate educator, Elise enjoys seeing the transformation in her students, as she helps them develop their skills and grow in confidence.
My Dog Barber has been styling dogs since 2014. We have grown from a one-man mobile grooming service to an independent chain of high street salons – learning valuable skills and lessons along the way. Our team of stylists have almost 200 years of combined experience. All of the My Dog Barber team will be on hand to help you navigate the course and share their wealth of industry and business experience.
